How To: Essential Shawl

From planes to museums, I am never without my shawl. It is essential on an airplane as a blanket or pillow. Use it to dress up a simple black dress for evening. When the museum requires women to wear skirts and you have on pants, wrap it around your waist, secure with a paper clip or belt and you have a makeshift skirt. My favorite one is a blend of silk, rayon and wool so it doesn't wrinkle. And it takes up very little room in my purse.
