Found in the MK nature center botanical garden.

Morrison Knudsen Nature Center.

This center is located not far from downtown Boise, that offers a very unique and one of a kind experience.

The main attraction to this center is the fish life cycle windows.

These allow you to follow the trails and see all stages of a fish's life cycle through a small window in the tank.

The few of these that I have have reflections. When it warms up, I plan to re-shoot these.

Beside each of the windows there is a sign with the description of what the cycle is.

See The Egg picture for an example.

Also see the window picture for an example of the fish that can be seen.

Throughout the area, there are many nesting platforms for the geese and ducks.

I have also found the bird watching area with feeders for the wildlife to have a spot to stop on their trip(s).

If you follow the path through the life cycle of the fish, you end up at the gardens.

These gardens have wonderful displays in the spring, of many native flowers.

The view of the gardens themselves make the trip worth while!

If you are ever in the are in the spring through fall season, I highly recommend this place.

Not only is fun for the adults, but also educational and interesting for the kids with view of the fish growing!

Michael, I enjoyed your article very much. We have a similar exhibit here in Redding at the Turtle Bay Museum. I know as a photographer, we're our own worst critics, but these images are nice. If you get a chance to re-shoot, great--but these certainly get your message across. Good work!
