Once apon a time

Once apon a time

This picture was taken in the fall of 2007. It is a historical part of Cedar Hill State Park. The windmill is a small part of sight seeing on the historical site where John Anderson Penn settled in 1854. The historical location has since been maintained as The Penn Farm in Cedar Hill State Park. Cedar Hill is located just minutes away from Downtown Dallas and has the feel that Dallas is hours away. Once upon a time a man settelled here and Downtown Dallas probably felt like it was two hours away.

Every where I land I always look for detail in nature. Texas has many landscapes and oddities to offer. Hill Country is by far the most interesting.
