I couldn't help stopping to make this picture while walking down Lincoln Road in Miami Beach. I love seeing musicians rehearsing before a performance and the composition of the deco motifs was irresistible.

BW Atlantic Beach Resort
Here is the a ocean view from our penthouse Miami Beach hotel room. We stayed at what is now the Best Western Atlantic Beach Resort, but it used to be called The Lucerne, an International Modern jewel designed in 1958 by Fontainebleau architect Morris Lapidus. (More to come.)

Miami Skyline at Sunset
Here is the downtown Miami Skyline at sunset as seen from the penthouse of our Miami Beach hotel. Old Jewish Cemetery - Prague

After the devastating floods of 2002 the Old Jewish Cemetery in Prague, like most of the historic sites, has recovered almost completely thanks to the dedication and support of the local and national community. Started in the 15th century, it holds the remains about 100,000 people, jet there are only about 12,000 gravestones. Graves were layered on top of one another because for centuries this was the only place Jews could be buried.

Metropol Hotel - Prague
Came across this great little hotel bar / cafe in Prague last week. We just had dessert and coffee in the early evening but it was excellent and the Modern decor was totally funky but also comfortable! We couldn't have afforded to stay at this hotel, but the bar was a great treat.
