Schimpff’s Confectionery is one of the oldest, continuously operated, family-owned candy businesses in the United States. They started off in louisville in the 1850's and moved to Jeffersonville in 1891 by Gustav Schimpff Sr.

The Brown Hotel

The Hot Brown sandwich was created at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky, by Fred K. Schmidt in 1926.

Cup of Sunshine Tea House & Cafe

Located on the banks of the Ohio River with a view of Louisville, Kentucky. This seasonal ice cream shoppe recently opened full time as a healthy eatery.

Marble Canyon

Hwy 89 near the border between Arizona and Utah.

Casa Batllo

Casa Batlló, located at Passeig de Gracía is one of the great masterpieces of Antoni Gaudi, an architect who also created La Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera and some other great pieces of architecture in Barcelona. Once in Barcelona, one shouldn't miss it.

True Sake

Located in San Francisco's increasingly trendy Hayes Valley neighborhood, True Sake has laid claim to being "the first dedicated sake store outside of Japan, and also the first sake store in America." By that they mean that it's the first store to specialize in selling only Japanese-style sake, and nothing else. And what a treat!

Gion

A quiet, historic district of Kyoto, Japan which can be very picturesque and inspiring for both the foreigner and Japanese.

Historic Bok Sanctuary

Historic Bok Sanctuary offers visitors Florida's most abundant

opportunities for aesthetic, cultural and personal enrichment.

The lush landscapes of the Olmsted gardens, the majesty and music

of the carillon tower and the splendor of Pinewood Estate

create an experience that inspires all who visit.

I'm Lizzie, a freelance photographer in Louisville, Kentucky. I shoot a lot of pictures horizontally and need to shoot more vertically. I'm a great story teller and a horrible writer.

And, I can't be your friend if you watch jerry springer. Sorry, thats just how it's got to be.

Today i sat in a line for 4.5 hours, bought 15 gallons of gasoline for $15.00... i kid you not.

My goal is to someday be able to visit Leptis Magna in Libya.
