Wupatki National Monument
Wupatki National Monument is home to the remains of the Wupatki Pueblo, citadel, and surrounding dwellings. The pueblo has a long history and was inhabited by many different groups of people over the centuries.
Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument
Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument is home to the youngest and most in tact volcano of the San Francisco volcanic chain. The volcano's eruption, occurring nearly a millennium ago, gave the San Francisco mountains a rebirth to volcanic activity.
