It's definitely worth getting up early to catch a sunrise while visiting the Point Pleasant Beach area. My favorite place to view a sunrise is at Osborn Avenue beach in Bay Head. Watching a sunrise here is a great way to start the day off with a serene and peaceful feeling.
Usually the Point Pleasant Beach and Bay Head beaches (NJ) stop charging daily beach badge fees around 5:00 pm. This is the time to come to the beach! There's hardly any people around, and it is a great time to catch some waves, read a book, or pursue your hobbies.
When visiting Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey, hopefully the weather will cooperate and grant you a spectacular sunset, such as this one. Pictured here are the fishing boats docked at the Co-Op Docks, across the channel from the Shrimp Box Restaurant on Inlet Drive.

Most visitors to Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey (along the Jersey Shore) spend a day at the beach, soaking up the rays and enjoying the ocean. Be sure to bring money for a beach badge, though, even if it is only for one day. New Jersey is one of the few states, if not the only one, that allows beaches to charge for usage.
When visiting Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey (along the Jersey Shore), be sure to get plenty of tickets to ride the rides at Jenkinson's Amusements Rides on the boardwalk. There are plenty of rides for people of all ages. Here, Aaron Mood rides the fire trucks...the first time he rode on one of the rides by himself.
Located at Loughran's Point Park on the Inlet in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey, the Fisherman's Memorial watches over the fishing vessels who leave every day, and hopefully return. For those who don't, the Memorial stands tall for them, always there with a guiding light.
Along the Jersey Shore, it isn't hard to find surfers, young and old alike. This little Grom is headed out for a day of surfing at Manasquan Inlet Beach, across the Inlet from Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey. Hopefully he caught some great waves!
