The holy site of Ban Ganga in the heart of Mumbai has ruins littered around the not so inviting tank of fresh water just a few steps from the Arabian Sea. A resident devotee had the painting of dancing Radha and Krishna hung over a similar ruin.

The Sri Venkateswara mat factory outside of Salem, Tamil Nadu is a place not many get to see. The factory provides mats to temples and homes all throughout India.
