Go Everywhere Lens

When traveling I am torn between taking all my lenses and keeping it simple. Nikon made my dilemma easier with the 18-200mm zoom lens.

Ushuaia is hte stepping off point for many Antarctica expeditions and cruises.

Howler Monkey
These monkeys are throughout Costa Rica. This day I was able to get very close as they were eating.

Hawk Haven Pond
This pond in Cle Elum is one of the jewels of the area. The setting is great for a house. I was fortunate enough to wake up and view the sun rising this spring morning.

Bowron Rainforest
Another unique characteristic of Bowron is the variety of scenery. I came upon this rainforest like moss carpet hiking in the woods near the campsite on one of the last lakes. The beauty of this trip is endless.

Mornin' on the Lake
Each morning on the Bowron circuit is different. I love this camping spot and looked forward to morning hoping for the fog. I took this photo before many people woke up. The lake was impossibly still and the air so clean!

The King
I took this photo as the sun rose on South Georgia Island. It was about 3:30am. I am surrounded by over 40,000 pairs of King penguins and their chicks. It was one of my favorite mornings of this expedition. I would love to visit here again!

Curious
This baby Elephant Seal is only 3 months old and very curious. He missed his mother who has left to go to sea. He will stay on shore for 3 months before going out to sea himself to find food.

All Nose
This is a male sub adult Elephant Seal and a King penguin. It was amazing to see the Elephant seal gracefully lubber into the water.

World Class Paddling

Bowron Provincial Park is a wonderful way to relax while getting away from it all. There are several lakes with designated campgrounds along the way.
Teri Lou Dantzler has been a member since 10 November 2007 and goes by TeriLou.
Currently in Kona, Hawaii.
I am a person who loves to travel, take photographs and be creative. My current project and job description is a producer of books, CaptureBooks. I capture the moments with photography and design a book for my clients. The moments I may capture will be of a bride getting ready for her wedding day, a sweet sixteen birthday party, a gentleman and his prize Corvette, a family's day at the fair, the possibilities are endless.
