I like peanut butter.
In sufferable
I am a retired secondary teacher (32 years) who spent his childhood developing his skills as a military brat while the family moved from one location to another. I attended Gorham State College to avoid the draft, somehow graduated with a teaching degree in the Social Studies, was hired by the Westerly School Department in 1970, and have lived in Westerly, RI ever since. When people ask me what I do now I tell them "Nothing," but I do dabble in photography and travel whenever I can.
In San Francisco
I am the founding Creative Director of Everywhere, and developed the visual identity and design of the magazine which, I hope, you've subscribed to! Prior to Everywhere, I was Creative Director at Dwell, and a founding Design Director at Gastronomica. Formerly a professional photographer in Manhattan, I have also lived and worked in Paris and Rome.
In Italy
I am Mary Ann. I usually spend my time restoring and retouching photos. Photography has captured me and now I capture images of everything that interests me. I am also a volunteer at Operation Photo Rescue.
In Okinawa Japan
I am an old dude learning digital photography. I love shooting wildlife pictures but cant get close enough with the camera I can afford. Canons or Nikons with 300mm or more lens don't exactly fall in your lap. Hey, Santa wishes for stuff, too !
In San Francisco

In limbo
I like to take pictures, and (to paraphrase Elliott Erwitt) I particularly like to take pictures I like. Lately I've been taking the pictures I like in Mexico and Honduras, but plan to expand my horizons as finances and opprotunities allow. I have been a photographer for the largest newspaper in the flattest state in North America - circulation 148 an falling -- for 26 years. Most days I can't believe they pay me to do this, some days they couldn't pay me enough. Life is
In San Francisco, thankfully.
I am ostensibly the Fleet Management Officer for Telstar Logistics, a leading provider of integrated services to clients worldwide. In reality, I'm the editor of Everywhere Magazine. Shhhhhhhh.
