Jerash Ruins
Jerash is famous for its Roman ruins. Located in northern Jordan, some 48 km (30 miles) north of the capital Amman, Jerash is known for the ruins of the Greco-Roman city of Gerasa.
D'Orcia
This particular grove of cypress trees has been photographed by some the world's best landscape photographers (such as Charlie Waite) and by thousands (tens of?) others (like me). It is a quintessential icon of Tuscany (and worth every effort to find it when there).
Machu Picchu

On top of one of the peaks of the Andes the Incas build this spectacular settlement.
