One of the extraordinary things about the Niipton hotel are the public journals. This is my entry just before I left on my fateful ride.
My bike parked outside my room at the Nipton hotel. I am the first customer awake and gone.
Doesn't look like much on the outside. Not much on the inside really but it sure is cozy.

Sunday morning in McCloud. This picture was taken early in the morning. Later in the day the street was teeming with the tourist trade.
