The Redwoods National Park does a pretty good job putting into perspective how tiny we little humans are. These trees are breathtakingly enormous.

I had just a tiny little window in my hotel room in the New Yorker, just down the street from the Empire State Building. I was flown to NYC to be on a national TV talkshow when all of a sudden during their recording my parents and brother came on the air with me. The first time the show had ever had a surprise guest. I was speechless. Well I thought the hotel was sketchy, and thought why would they put their guests here. Later to find out my family stayed in the regular, much fancier hotel by Central park.
