I was driving back to my hotel the long way via the drive along the coast in Prince Edward Island National Park. I was chatting on the phone with a friend and came over the hill and literally gasped when I saw this sight in my rearview mirror. I hastily pulled off the road and took a few shots trying in vain to describe the beauty before me to my friend. This picture is only a fraction of the beauty my eyes held but it is still a slice of heaven that I saw that evening.
A picturesque lighthouse that caught my eye in Prince Edward Island National Park. It can be seen featured in the CBC miniseries Anne of Green Gables.
The stunning view from the south rim of the Grand Canyon nearly knocked me off of my feet. It isn't easy to floor me when it comes to views but this view is almost impossible to comprehend. Images can only tell part of the tale, you have to be there to understand the vastness of this amazing park.
Skyline of Miami as seen from our balcony room on Royal Carribbean as we were leaving port!
Low tide at Point Prim Lighthouse on Prince Edward Island.
This idyllic home is featured in Canada's most famous novel, Anne of Green Gables. It was a childhood dream of mine to see the home and area where Anne grew up and I finally have done so and am now aching to return to this beautiful setting located in Cavendish inside of Prince Edward Island National Park.
