I am a writer and photographer who left the structure of downtown Toronto to venture into the great American Midwest 8 years ago. My elevator ride down 27 floors to a concrete metropolis was replaced by journeys down an Interstate through rolling hills. I currently live in the Upper Midwest. The US is like everything you've ever known - only more so. Can America still be discovered? I think so.

In 2001, I began concentrating on landscape and aerial photography. My images have appeared in magazines and calenders as well as non-profit and corporate publications.

I am... sometimes lost... at times found. Some of my favorite tour guides... Tom Waits, stray cats, Fernando Pessoa, T.S. Eliot, Timothy Levitch (See documentary "The Cruise" by Bennett Miller) and maybe for a couple of minutes there was Dr. Suess (Oh, the places you'll go!). The best advice I ever received about taking pictures ... "Don't be afraid of the dark."

I am an artist and photojournalist just north of Tampa Bay in Florida, USA. My wife and I love to travel (13 countries so far). I'm into Modern art, Polaroids, history, skateboarding, reading, and fiddling with my iPhone but mostly I pretty much just take pictures all the time.
