I am Darwin D. Dirks, now retired. I enjoy high performance cars, and travel in the Western United States with the company of my wife, Jackie. I'm the author of a book "Grab Some Gears - 40 Years of Street Racing" copyright 2006, now available from amazon.com in paperback. My dream for my retirement years is to travel the intermountain west, promote my book, celebrate the enjoyment of high performance cars, and to photograph and write about interresting people and places.
