Vegetation around the lighthouse is limited to low grasses since the highland is exposed to strong winds from the Pacific Ocean.

A mother seal teaching her baby seal how to swim.

What a rare sight to catch. I was surprised how these seals kept on showing off and popping their heads out of water to pose for the camera.

I think that seeing these elephant seals was one of the most spectacular sights of our roadtrip to Los Angeles. One beach, probably half a mile long was simply covered with seals lying next to one another.

This big fella decided to say hi with really large yawn.

A quiet spot uploaded on 2 June 2008

Spaces inside and outside the Getty Center are greatly varied. There are some spectacular outdoors spaces where you can photograph great vistas of the city below. However, my favourite spaces were these hidden, quiet spaces around the museum where you could take a break from all the visitors around you.
