Classic cafe
Balzac's spacious store is empty in the summer months when all of the visitors are enjoying the outdoor patio, but fills up in the cold Toronto winter months.

Early morning hours
Early morning hours are my favourite time of the day to explore a city. In most European cities smell of baking bread will guide you to a neighbourhood bakery like a magnet. I was not surprised to see a delivery truck delivering goods to a bakery at 5 am.
