Some of the guides on the river get closer than is safe. It is a fantastic site but it is not good for teh elepnants and not safe for the people in the boat. An elepant can easily turn that boat over in this deep river.

This bird seems to have a real attitude. I took his photo aat Key West Florida, he did not seem pleased by my attention.
These young elephants follow the large bull elephant across the Chobe River after having grazed on an island for the day. Each day they wait for the bull elephant to appear to lead them to the island in the morning then back again in the early evening. This is in Botswana.

Being a visually impaired photographer presents interesting results for me. I often find elements in my photos that I did not see when capturing them. I am always anxious to get to my computer to see what I have snapped.
