I awoke at 3.00am to climb to the summit of this steep and gusty mountain - arrived around 5.00am at the peak - and sat in the dark in a nook in the rocks and waited. Eventually the sun arose and shone some warmth through and revealed this otherworldly view through the skies of Malaysia.
Mt Kinabalu National Park:
While trekking up Mt Kinabalu in Mayasian Borneo, I stopped a number times along the path to capture the beauty I was passing, but sometimes too exhausted to acknoweldge if I kept on trekking. Here we can see the thick mist inside an untouched forest.
David Lazar has been a member since 11 November 2007 and goes by dvlazar.
Currently in Australia.
I am a photographer from Brisbane, Australia - and one of the joys for me (outside my musical profession) is travelling and capturing moments of life and beauty through photography.
My favourite styles of photography are portraiture and landscape. Also, in general, I prefer shots which contain an element of 'cannot be captured exactly again'; that is expressive people shots, action shots and any scenario with a unique aspect to it.
