Hide n' seek in Bedni
The Chaukhamba and Neelkanth peeks appear only during early mornings for an hour or so. As the sun climbs up the sky, clouds come and shroud over these greater Himalyan ranges.

Shiva's regal
A royal sunrise over the Trishul peak. Our guide Narendra soaks in the morning sun after a cold, cold night. Nanda ghunti also makes an appearance for the first time over the left side of the ridge.

We took a break for 2 days at Bedni just to soak in the place and get our tent pitched and tested for the first time after we bought it.

Bedni Bugyal
Bugyals are high altitude alpine meadows. At 3660 mts Bedni is miles after miles of undulating meadows with the peaks of Trishul and Nanda Ghunti towering over in the horizon.

To Bedni
We camped at Gueruli Patal overnight after a steep climb of about 10 Kms. After a very rainy night it was a brilliant sunny morning and we set off towards Bedni.... miles after miles of high altitude alpine medows.... we call it bugyals here.

Cowboy at Wan
These men and their mules help carry all the gear and ration for the trek upto a point called Pathar Nachauni. From there the mules turn back, the altitude and the path being unsuitable for them.
