After a brief ferry ride across part of the Gulf of Mexico, visitors are greeted by the friendly "isleño" atmosphere of Isla Mujeres.
This iguana, the largest I've ever seen, is typical of this region of Mexico. Although this particular one is displayed in a cage, they ofter roam around at their leasure.
