Holiday Maiko

The city of Kyoto is a hustling, busy metropolis, not much different from most major cities of Japan. But, if you find your way to the Gion district looking for the historic remnants of the Geisha, prepare yourself. Your best bet is to find the average Japanese girl dressed up by a tourist company that specializes in making up holiday visitors in full Geisha garb and photographing them in front of the historical sites of the Gion district. If you're lucky to catch them, then it is possible to play paparazzi and grab a few shots for yourself.

When not shooting weddings at prominent hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, such as the Venetian, Flamingo or Treasure Island, JD Marsh can be found walking the North Strip and less prominent areas of Las Vegas with a camera. When not having a camera in his hands, JD can be found with his new addiction -everywheremag.com.

Oh, yeah. He also loves beaches, has spent 7 years in Japan and likes to travel. So, a lot of those pictures will show up too.
