A conversation at the Bauhaus Archiv Museum in Berlin.

The Bauhaus Archiv museum was undergoing some much-needed renovations when I visited in November 2007, but it was like a visit to heaven for a Mod like me...
This is a view of the magnificent staircase in the Museum of Czech Cubism in Prague. Notice the appearance of ghost figures from my timed exposure...
House of the Black Madonna - Praha -
This statuette adorns the corner of the building that houses the Museum of Czech Cubism and the Orient Cafe.
This Museum of Czech Cubism in the Black Madonna Building holds a fabulous collection of rare cubist art and sports a great museum store and excellent cafe.
"Ich Hab' Noch Einen Koffer In Berlin" - Berlin is perhaps THE most happening place on the planet right now. Especially for the art scene. You really get a sense how much Berliners value the arts. There are galleries and museums everywhere and the talent is abundant. There just wasn't enough time to see everything as usual. Hustle and bustle. But I just had to pause to shoot these two scooters on my way to get the rental car before we dashed off to Copenhagen. You can just imagine the wild weekend their owners likely had... Ja. Ja. Ja!
A lighted lane at Tivoli Christmas Market - Copenhagen.
Even though it was freezing for this Florida boy, the market was worth the entry fee. We bought some hand made ornaments and sipped hot chocolate to keep our faces & hands warm.
Night at Tivoli Christmas Market - Copenhagen.
There was an entry fee to get into the park so you could spend more money on overpriced crafts and meals. But it was still worth it for the Tivoli experience. It was too cold for this Florida boy to ride the rides, but we found some nice hand made gifts and sipped hot chocolate to keep warm.
The traditional smorgasboard was a bit too adventurous for us (many raw-looking meats) but we did find some excellent pepper steak along the rows of restaurants.
Gedser Rev - Nyhavn
This magnificent boat was docked along the canal with the traditional Nyhavn buildings as the perfect backdrop. It looks good here but could you imagine being on the deck of this skinny vessle as it sails the stormy North Sea? Especially with a belly full of pickled herring!
