Crowder's Mountain State Park
Crowder's Mountain State Park is just 50 miles west of Charlotte, N.C.
It is a day use park with many trails to challenge the "in-shape hiker" as well as the "out-of shape" hiker.
Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens
The Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens is a world class garden with a new 8,000 square foot, five story high glass orchid conservatory. This garden has something to offer everyone, during every month of the year.

Occasionally I find myself in cities photographing urban beauty. But I prefer less crowded venues and the sounds of nature over cars and construction equipment.
