Usually is a meat or seafood on a stick with bread or "tostones" (fried plantain/ green banana)
This is a Puerto Rican traditional favorite!
Is made with codfish, flour and latin seasonings.
Once they mix all of that they drop a small amount in hot,hot cooking oil and let them golden.
They are eaten as a snack or appetizer.
You can find them in different areas in Puerto Rico where they practice traditional cooking and the price goes from $1.00 to no more than $2.00.

My sister (20) and my son (1),they are together just once or twice a year and this was alex's 4th trip to Puerto Rico and my sister considers him her best friend when they are together.
How can a one year old could be so important in the lives of so many people.
