The Salar de Uyuni is the world's largest salt flat. I took this photo from the Isla del Pescado, an 'island' that rises from the salt with spectacular views to the distant mountains.

With an East coaster and a Texan visiting me in Oregon, I couldn't help but take them to my favorite park on the West Coast. We were walking along the Damnation Creek Trail in the Redwoods National Park when I glanced up and saw this.
