In a cozy home in California, longing for NY food
I am a newly resigned/retired public school teacher as of 12/07, after 11 years. I am so excited to have lots of freed up time to do the things I enjoy, and am finding there are more and more "things to do" as time passes. I am a wife, friend, middle daughter, food snob, lover of old typewriters/cameras/eyeglasses/furniture, aspiring belly dancer, avid baker, cook, bag creator, Yelp reviewer, and often silly woman. I am a NY transplant to CA 12 years now, and warm ocean water calls me.

I now see the world through a lens. No longer do I just soak in the world as it goes by, I view it as what would make a great picture and what will help me remember that day and that particular moment in time.
