Colosseum
the Colosseum is the absolute one thing you must see in Rome.
It is one of the greatest works of Roman architecture.
Its construction started between 70 and 72 AD under the emperor Vespasian and was completed in 80 AD under Titus.
The Colosseum was used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles.
Although it is now in a ruined condition due to damage caused by earthquakes and stone-robbers.
