With a myriad of diverse destinations in Turkey, travelers should be well prepared for just about anything. Take these starting tips as a guide.
The wide corridors of the Grand Bazaar are lined with jewelry stores, leather stores, and others that invite tourists to shop till they drop.
The Spice Market is filled with every type of spice to your liking. From apple tea to a "love tea", your selection here will meet anyone's needs.
Traditionally dressed Ottoman come to tourists motioning them to take a photo. Once taken, they offer a refreshing cup of visne juice, and ask for money. While you are not obligated to pay that amount, some form of compensation is suggested.
One of the most breathtaking views I've come across in Turkey was here in Goreme. The flat expanse enables you to see for miles, and the naturally formed cliff sides are unique beyond words. A view not to be missed, Goreme is a definite place to visit when travelling to Turkey.
