More than five decades ago a great Atlantic ocean liner, the SS Independence, proudly steamed to exotic Mediterranean ports while serving up the finest caviar and champagne. Today, she's a ghost ship, and I'll tell you what it's like to be inside.
The starboard promenade features four double-doors, which entered into the art moderne Main Lounge.
Port side of the Indy, with one of the lifeboats (at the the time of their construction, the largest lifeboats in the world), at her side.
This is the ship's only remaining chandelier, currently sitting in the dark near the ship's galley.
Hibiscus flowers adorn the smokestack.
