Kite Beach, just outside of Cabarete in the Dominican Republic, is known as one of the best beaches in the world for the emerging sport of kite surfing. After several attempts, I was successful at catching this surfer as he jumped a wave and floated through the air. The wind in his kite carried him along and he appeared to be suspended indefinitely.
