Photo: Off the Beaten Tourist Path

Pitillal, an oft overlooked municipality of Puerto Vallarta, is one of our favorite places off the beaten tourist path. It is home to the Mexicans who work in the hotels and in the rapidly growing tourist industry yet cannot afford to live in Vallarta.
