Every year, one of Tucson's oldest barrios holds a "Fiesta Grande". This large party celebrates the Hispanic culture and raises money for the area. The festival features (among other things) a classic car show, carnival rides, arts and crafts, and a parade. Everywhere we walked, there was live mariachi music and bands, folklorico dancers dressed in customary vibrant costumes, and the incredible smell (and flavors) of spicy Mexican food. We enjoyed a plate full of carne asada, beans, rice, and salsa and a cold beer while watching the performances!

I love everything about this photo - the color, the composition, the motion blur, the depth of field, the child's expression, and the feeling it gives about this festival. It makes me want to see it in person.
