HIrosaki is known for one of the best places to see cherry blossoms in Aomori region. Cherry blossoms in more than 5,000 sakura trees look beautiful with Hirosaki Castle. Canoeing in the moat is a popular event for many Japanese. This region is farther North so the blossoms bloom later in Spring.
