Photo: Sunrise at 35,000 feet

We were flying to the UK from the east coast. Why must these flights go through the night? I need to sleep in a bed, not sitting up in an airplane seat. Anyway, I was trying to find a way to pass the time and noticed the sun coming up and grabbed a few shots through the window. I have nice equipment, Leica, and laughed that I was taking pictures through one inch plexiglass. Even at that, a nice picture, I think. Morning brings welcome light and the prospect of landing soon.
