Very old cemetery in Meredith, NH

One thing I love about visiting New England (incidentally, from where I hail) are the wicked old cemeteries that randomly pop up in neighborhoods, along out-of-the-way roadsides, and in between aluminum-sided houses. This one was on the sparse side, kind of packed with buzzing flies, and dead people from the 1800s.

This photo has been submitted to the recurring theme “Roadside Attractions.”
Do you think it’s good for this theme?

My wife belongs to the Westerly Historical Society and we are in the process of trying to find all the little, scattered historical cemeteries in town. There are more than 70 (often family plots) in this 33 square mile town. Most are overgrown with many stones knocked over or missing. The one in your photo looks to be well cared for.
