Photo: Matchbooks

Collecting matchbooks is a fun and free souvenir idea. Not sure why (I don't smoke), but I would always grab matchbooks from places I visited or dined at, and I just realized that I have a nice collection now. I guess I subconsciously collected these.

Then I remembered:

My grandparents traveled the world, and collected matchbooks from every single place they visited. Unfortunately, the matchbooks were thrown away after they died.
