    My cousin and I when we were kids would walk down here, tiptoe across wooden planks strategically placed as a passageway. We would make it all the way over to the dam where the water shoots out with force through these ship like holes and stand over them, then sit down. The water would shoot you out like a cannonball. You just had to catch yourself when you were sliding down to stop before you got to the next edge so you wouldn't be thrown off the side of the concrete. Thank goodness we weren't down there doing that when the alarms sound and they let a lot of water through due to river water highs.
