Located in dowtown Tampa, this historic landmark has become home to many independent film showcasings and the annual Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. The theatre is also known for playing many landmark Foreign Film features such as Amelie and Run Lola Run. The historic decor of the interior, with an intermission pipe organ player who rises from the stage floor to entertain, and a star lit nightscape ceiling panorama, give a feel to the movie goer of stepping into the past, if only for the length of a regular movie showing.
