Diefenbunker - Radio Room

The radio room was used for communicated with the outside world. This would be where the Prime Minister would bark out the orders to any one left after a nuclear attack. The antenna for the radio room was mounted 60 km to the west of the bunker to through off any enemy war planes should they try to use the radio signal for tracking.
