The street this shrine sits off of is a major pipeline for Atlanta drivers. All day and night it is populated with traffic while also cutting through one of the city's oldest and poorer neighborhoods. Adults and children walk back and forth across this busy strip. This is one of a couple homages to children who have gotten hit while playing near or crossing the street.
