Ellis Island the gateway to the New World now a big museum but in the 19th Century a place where the start of a new life began or dreams were broken. The best time to take photographs is either in the morning or after 4-5 O'clock when the sun is not as intense.
Thanks for the cudo's. I enjoyed staying just a bit longer to catch the right light. I am going back in one or two weeks time. Winter light is even better.
