Photo: Magic Aluminum

I took this image on a visit to the Chinati Foundation in Marfa, Texas. The element on the right is one of 100 aluminum works designed by Donald Judd and displayed in two former artillery sheds. I was already a fan of Judd's work (thus the trip), but became a true believer after the visit to Chinati. I felt like a kid, darting among the works, discovering new ways to see the light.
