Playful Boracay

Playful Boracay

Taken on beautiful Boracay Island This photo was taken of a very playful boy - I dared getting my camera wet as I walked into the water to shoot him and his active friends.

About this place:

Boracay Island in the Philippines is famous worldwide for its white powdery sand and crystal clear blue water. There's something for each of the thousands of local and international tourists that visit every year. From homey beach houses to 5-star hotels, to tiny eateries to loud open-all-night bars, vendors plying their wares by the beach to a mall that runs through the main hub of the island, Boracay is never boring.

Boracay is located 2km off the coast of the island of Panay in the Western Visayas, under the provicial government of Aklan. Swimming beaches abound, so hiring a bicycle, motorbike, or tricycle to explore more remote corners of the island is highly recommended. Boracay is also a haven for watersports enthusiasts: snorkelling, diving, parasailing, wakeboarding, kiteboarding, and boating can all be found on the island. Once you've tired yourself out, a therapist to massage those aches and pains away and a cocktail are just a phone call away.
