What does he think of me looming over him, blocking the view? He flies right past as he leaves, but lets me follow him to the next store, to the next load.
About this place:
Up in the hills of east Portland, the gardens are called the International Rose Test Center and consist of thousands of color combinations and petal types, roses galore. Even in November, the roses are fighting for survival, losing petals maybe, some of them scorched by summer's sunshine, but still braving the breeze and rains.
