Inside the Melbourne Central subway station/shopping mall there is an old shot tower. The mall was scheduled to be built and the shot tower torn down, but the locals wanted the tower preserved, so a compromise was reached--The mall was built around the tower. The now usued towere was converted to a small museum that tells the history of shot making in Australia. You access it through the western wear shop and there is no charge to read the information and play with the really nice interactive display. Here users stand in front of a large screen and touch the air in the direction of the items they want to see more information on. The sensors that you stand in-between convert your movents into actions on the screen. This may be small, but if you are going to be catching a train, it's worth the stop.
