This lovely old building was still in use as a tasting room until a few years ago when the new tasting room was built. This building has probably been around since the gold rush of the 1850's.
This is one of El Dorado County's oldest wineries, located in Placerville, CA. It is also one of the most picturesque wineries in the area. It is beautifully landscaped with lush flower gardens and ponds. There are ample picnic tables scattered throughout the grounds. The original house, distillary and cellar are still in use. There is also a modern tasting room on the property.
