Belmont Park is a miniature amusement park on the waterfront in Mission Beach, San Diego. It offers a selection of rides and eateries; but you'll almost certainly be coming here for the Giant Dipper: This wooden roller coaster was built in 1925, and delights kids and adults with two minutes of violent, teeth-rattling fun. It's cheap, too, so if you don't crack any ribs, you can easily do it again and again.
