Place to sleep: Cedar House Inn, Atlanta, Georgia, United States

The breakfast part of B&B

The breakfast part of B&B

Cedar House can prepare vegetarian and vegan breakfasts if you request it. Ours consisted of a veggie patty, eggs, blueberry casserole decorated with mint picked fresh from their garden moments before, tea, juice and fresh fruit.

About this place:

Located about an hour north of Atlanta lies a secluded B&B just outside the city of Dahlonega in Northern Georgia. What distinguishes this from your traditional bed & breakfast is that you have the option to stay in a yurt. First developed by the Mongolians thousands of years ago, yurts are round tents made of canvas. Hiking, kayaking, wine-tasting and the highest cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi River are all close by which makes for a great weekend getaway.
